As a Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for closing deals for our market-leading energy storage software. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you’ll take the lead on developing leads through to negotiating and closing opportunities.


  • Successfully sell Arenko’s SAAS products and services into energy storage organisations (asset owners, investment funds, energy companies) both in UK and internationally
  • Develop a strategic sales plan to effectively and efficiently manage accounts with the Commercial team
  • Meet and exceed annual sales targets
  • Self-generate, qualify and nurture prospects from first conversation to contract negotiation and acquisition
  • Effectively manage pipeline including generating analysis and reports for management team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects across the energy industry to grow Arenko’s book of business
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Account Management to develop new and cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop best practice in managing sales process and customer relationship management
  • Partner across the organisation to improve sales to cash and deliver value across all our products
  • Develop market insights and collaborate with Product to inform future product development


  • Proven track record of closing SaaS sales with enterprise-scale clients (ideally 5+ years)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop deep client relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and approach with strong commercial acumen – self-motivated and with a strong work ethic to go the extra mile
  • Experience managing RFP/tender processes
  • Outstanding communication skills and a track record of working with senior management and managing multiple stakeholders
